more tips
|
- Buy the smallest amount of cleaners and chemicals
necessary to prevent accumulating unneeded excess and to save money.
- Use only the amount of detergent specified in directions.
Adding more will only coat your clothing with soap residue. Remember
that washing full loads of laundry also saves water and electricity.
- Mend and alter clothes rather than throwing them
away. When clothing is beyond repair, turn it into rags for cleaning
use.
- Use rags, reusable wipes and sponges instead of paper
towels. Be sure to wash (and, if necessary, disinfect) these items regularly.
- Clean your microwave without any chemicals by microwaving
a cup of water until it steams. Wipe off the steam and the softened
food residue will come off with it!
