- Visit the business Junk Mail Reduction Project at
dnr.metrokc.gov/swd/nwpc/bizjunkmail.htm
to find out how to get your name off mailing lists.
- Review electronic mail, and print out only what you
really need for future reference.
- Avoid using fax cover pages. Double side all photocopies.
- Reuse manila folders, binders, envelopes and boxes
by relabeling them.
- Buy refurbished toner cartridges or refill them yourself
if possible.
- Think "litter-less lunches" for work or
any meals away from home. Avoid store-bought single servings and instead
place sandwiches, snacks and drinks in reusable containers rather than
plastic bags.
- Drink your coffee or other beverage in a reusable mug
and use plates and cloth napkins rather than disposable items for meals.
