Thanks to all of our guests for supporting the IRC and joining us for this special event celebrating IRC’s 25th anniversary! REVENT was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel located in downtown Indianapolis. Thanks also to the elected officials who joined us: Congressman Carson, State Senators Mike Young, Phil Boots, Jean Breaux, Ryan Mishler and Mark Stoops; State Representatives Cindy Kirchhofer, Justin Moed, Dave Ober, and Sean Eberhart; Indianapolis City-County Councilor John Barth, Jeff Miller, Vop Osili and Pam Hickman and Dan Schmidt from Gov Pence’s office.

Channel 6 Investigative Reporter Kara Kenney served as our emcee for the evening and did a wonderful job entertaining attendees. Speakers included Myles Cohen - Pratt Industries, Dan Schmidt - Governor Pence’s office, Congressman Carson and the IRC’s Carey Hamilton. IRC Board President Cassie Stockamp hosted the “Heads or Tails” raffle of two Southwest Airline tickets which raised $1,900 for the IRC’s programs. The IRC’s art and entertainment themed auction raised over $7,000 and served as a fun backdrop for the cocktail hour. We are grateful for all of the donations we received for the auction; CLICK HERE to see a list of donors.

We are grateful for IRC Board Members Morgan Bennett and Nick Brothers for serving on the REVENT planning committee and for helping make this evening a great success. Thank you to our wonderful REVENT volunteers: Matt Miller, Will Schaust, Justin Morris, Lauren Hill and Jane Santucci. Special thanks to the Dumpster Drummers for putting on an amazing performance during our program and to all who participated in our first-ever vintage/thrifty/artsy fashion contest, judged by guest fashion blogger Violet Short!
