LEGISLATIVE ACTION ALERT

We need your help!

The Indiana Recycling Coalition (IRC) has made a formal request to both Governor Pence and Senator Kenley (Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee) to fully reinstate Indiana’s dedicated recycling fund, 90% of which was frozen in 2009 due to a state budget crisis that is now behind us.

This fund provides grants to support recycling across the state.
Now, the Governor and the legislature need to hear from you!!

Please take a few minutes to complete these three quick and easy steps:

  • Call or email your Senator (find here) and let them know that you support the Indiana Recycling Coalition’s request to reinstate $3.4 million in recycling funds annually.
  • Call (317-232-9400) or email Senator Kenley directly and let him know that you support the Indiana Recycling Coalition’s request to reinstate $3.4 million in recycling funds annually.
  • Call (317-232-4567) or email Governor Pence and let him know that you support the Indiana Recycling Coalition’s request to reinstate $3.4 million in recycling funds annually.
See additional information about this request here.
See the request from IRC’s industry stakeholders to Governor Pence here.

Your support will make a difference!

Thank you,

The IRC Team
