With your support, we can plant symbols of life and renewal across the country. Earth Share and the Indiana Recycling Coalition invite you to be part of Tribute Trees, a special project that will help plant thousands of trees to create living memorials honoring the victims of September 11, and as a tribute to those who serve our country.
Earth Share is a federation of America's leading non-profit environmental and conservation organizations, working together to promote environmental education and charitable giving through workplace giving campaigns. In partnership with its member group American Forests, Earth Share offers three easy ways to get involved with Tribute Trees:
1. Plant a tree AND support important environmental causes simply by making a donation of $25 or more to the Indiana Recycling Coalition. A portion of your contribution will enable American Forests to plant a tree in a location where it is most needed.

2. Purchase an Historic Tree and part of the purchase price will benefit the Indiana Recycling Coalition! Historic Trees are descendents of trees that were owned by famous and notable Americans, including many of our presidents.
When you plant an Historic Tree you help keep our history alive, and 20% of your purchase price will go to the Indiana Recycling Coalition to help support our work. Click on the box for more information.
3. Get the whole workplace involved! Ask your employer to host an Earth Share workplace giving campaign at your workplace this Earth Day, April 22 - a portion of the donations will go to plant trees. The Tribute Trees program coincides with a national campaign, headed by Earth Day Network, to devote Earth Day to promote the planting of trees around homes and neighborhoods as a way to save energy, clean the air and water, and protect wildlife. Earth Share will provide special pledge forms and other materials to participating companies. Interested employees and employers can contact Earth Share directly.
All donations are tax-deductible. However you choose to support our environment, your contribution is deeply appreciated! |
