Blue is the new green! If you’re hosting an event, recycling is a great way to keep it clean and green. The IRC can provide portable, beverage container recycling bins and food waste composting bins for your special occasion. More information on how to run a public space recycling program in the resources below.

Step 1. Read this full web page and the IRC’s Mini Guide to Recycling.

Step 2. Email Marla, Program Manager, to ensure bins are available.

Step 3. IRC Members reserve bins here. Non-members reserve bins here.

Step 4. Schedule bin pick up and drop off. Transportation of bins is the renter’s responsibility.

Step 5. Post pictures of bins in action your event on social media! Tag the Indiana Recycling Coalition.

Step 6. Record the weight diverted by: bag count, IRC-provided hand scale, or weight ticket from hauler. Email results to the IRC.
