Blue is the new green! If you’re hosting an event, recycling is a great way to keep it clean and green. The IRC is happy to provide portable, beverage container recycling bins and food waste composting bins for your special occasion. These ClearStream bins have become synonymous with beverage recycling and composting, aiming to prevent contamination.

 

Bins available for use: 40 blue recycling bins and 10 composting bins.

Lend-a-bin policy (updated April 14, 2016)

Rental Rates:
Member Rate: Organizational members of the IRC ($100 annual membership and above) can utilize recycling bins for up to 3 events each year without charge. Beyond 3 events, members will need to pay a small fee of $5/bin to help offset the costs of managing the bins and program. Bins must be reserved in multiples of 5.
Non-Member Rate: Non-members pay a fee of $5/bin each time bins are borrowed. Bins are checked out in multiples of 5, so the minimum charge for non-members to borrow bins is $25.00.

We provide the first 5 recycling/compost bags FREE with bin reservation. Additional bags are 50 cents/bag after the first 5 bags, payable at the time of reservation.

Bin Return Policy
You are responsible for returning bins.
Bins must be returned by Wednesday of the following week unless previous arrangements have been made with the IRC.
A $25/bin weekly late fee will be charged for unreturned bins.
If the bins are never returned to the IRC, the credit card on file will be charged $100/bin.
