Call for presenters! :: Quick Pitch Idea Battle

The IRC is looking for presenters! We’re now accepting applications for the Battle of the Recyclers.

Do you have an idea to reduce waste? We want to hear it! Whether you’re an artist repurposing materials, a composting farmer, an innovative entrepreneur, a zero-waste minimalist or just someone with a great idea, we want to hear from you.

We are hosting The Pitch, an idea battle at breakfast on Thursday morning of the Conference. Here’s how it works: folks with any sort of waste reduction idea will submit a proposal for a short 6 minute presentation (in the same vein as Pecha Kucha). The IRC’s conference committee will pick a handful of proposals to be presented at the Conference. After the presentations are delivered, the audience will vote on its favorite idea. The winner will receive a full pass to the national Resource Recycling Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.

Not in the recycling industry? Don’t worry. All that matters is that you have a great idea. Be quick, be creative, be influential, and the prize could be yours. Ready to pitch?
